Can I self-refer?

Yes you can. If you have been affected by Domestic Abuse in any form (Violence, Economic Abuse, Psychological Abuse, Coercive control) or sexual violence, you can use the form available in our REFERRALS section and one of our team will get in touch with you.

I work with an agency (Doctor’s surgery, Social Worker, etc…) can I refer a patient/client?

Yes you can. Use the form available in our REFERRALS section and one of our team will get in touch directly with the client/service user. Remember to obtain your client’s/patient’s consent at the end of the process (there’s a box to tick to confirm this).

I struggle with anxiety, the prospect of entering a room full of people unsettles me. Can you help?

Yes we can. All our trained volunteers understand how difficult it can be to walk into a new place at times and we can assign you one of our volunteers to meet you at the door and help you the first time you visit us. We will discuss this over the phone with you during our initial chat.

Do I need to book before attending a session?

Yes you do as we need to limit the number of attendees so we can give each and every woman the attention and care she deserves. To book a place, text or ring the following number: 07895155965 and mention which session you wish to book for: Monday or Wednesday.

In your WHO WE ARE section, it states you are “a Charity founded on Christian vision and driven by Christian values”. Do I need to be a Christian to attend?

No you don’t! While we are guided by Christian principles, we welcome volunteers, supporters and service users from all faiths and denominations and those who are agnostic or atheist. We do not expect everyone in Ladies’ Lounge to subscribe to the Christian faith, just to understand, respect and acknowledge our values. If a service user feels comforted by prayer, they can ask one of the volunteers to pray with/for them.
